Peak Summer Produce, Father's Day Gift Bundles, New GraNOLA, Pasta, Meats, Pickles, Jams & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of June 9th

Place Your Orders Here!

It will be another great week for summer produce with sweet corn, cucumbers, eggplant, fennel, Napa cabbage, various peppers, potatoes, tomatoes and zephyr squash, plus we expect the first okra of the season tomorrow!

There’s also peaches, blackberries and blueberries and a ton of gourmet mushrooms, carrots, kohlrabi, radishes, turnips and sweet potatoes and garlic in the produce realm, with more onions and green shallots expected tomorrow, too.

Plus we rolled out some fun bundles for Father's Day -- a grilling special plus we resurrected some of our holiday gift boxes into bundles (there’s a jam or pickle sampler, a mushroom lover’s bundle and a fun charcuterie fixins box that is temporarily sold out until we get more of the marinated feta in from Southern Maids on Wednesday).

And we’re excited to offer GraNOLA products thanks to a customer introduction! Chris Proctor started making her homemade graNOLA and bars back in 2021 in her Mandeville kitchen to answer to the question “why can't granola taste better?”

She came up with a version that's both nutritious and delicious and she’s proud that it tastes so much better than store bought and that customers can feel good about what's in it and what's not, as there are no refined sugars added to any of the products. There’s two sizes of four different flavors of granola, plus three different types of granola bars made with oats, dried fruit and but butters. Read more about GraNOLA in the Vendor Directory here.

There’s also plenty of our pastured pork and pastured chicken from three farms and our wild-foraged goat meat. Our grassfed beef is limited on a few cuts until our next processing and we hope to get more Gulf seafood (mainly shrimp) in this week.

There’s some whole milk and half & half on sale from last week, plus more milk, cream, half & half and chocolate milk expected from Feliciana’s Best on Tuesday by midday as usual. Southern Maids will bring even more goat milk, goat cheeses and yogurt on Wednesday, too.

We’re stocked up on Church Alley chai concentrate, cold brew and simple syrups and we just got a new larger size of vanilla simple syrup on Saturday.

We have several options on hummus (and pesto), but Nur’s Kitchen is closed for vacation this week, so we won’t restock until Wednesday, June 18th.

Il Supremo has been rolling out some new pasta shapes, so we have a few of those frozen from last week and will get more fresh pasta in on Tuesday as usual, also.

As usual, we try to stay stocked up on rice, grits, cornmeal, stone-milled flour, coffee and herbal teas, tinctures and new skin salves and body oils, fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and preserves, pickles, fermented veggies, kombucha, seasonings and hot sauces, chili oils and more.
