What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of May 18th
Place Your Orders Here!
Lots of exciting news coming out of our market this week -- maybe most exciting is that my parents drove the 2026 batch of maple syrup down from Wisconsin on last Wednesday, so we're stocked back up!
And we got in the first blackberries of the season, beautiful broccoli and cauliflower, more green beans, peaches and potatoes. We got the first creole tomatoes of the season last week and we’re expecting more of those, plus heirloom slicing tomatoes on Tuesday, as well.
Somehow we're still making it work without one of our display coolers, but the parts are ordered and we should have it back up and running by the end of this week or early the following week!
Garlic is back in season, too, and there’s still lots of salad greens. We have some zucchini to start the week and we’ll get more pickling cucumbers and zephyr squash from River Queen Greens on Tuesday afternoon, along with jalapeño and purple bell peppers!
Ground chicken from A&A Acres is back in stock for the season and we're fairly stocked up on pastured pork, wild-foraged goat meat, ground beef and ground buffalo. Beef cuts are slightly limited, but there's still NY Strip steaks, stew meat, tenderized round steaks, brisket, osso bucco shanks and more.
Seafood is pretty limited, but we have an order in with Anna Marie and expect a restock soon.
And bone broth from Credo Farms will be back in stock on Tuesday, too!
There’s lots of hummus to start the week for a change (often we sell most by Saturday!). And we had extra half & half and heavy cream last week, so those are on sale and we got goat milk early this week, so that’s already available to be ordered.
There's also lots of our pastured eggs -- regular mixed size chicken eggs, small pullet eggs and duck eggs.
