Place Your Orders Here!
In these summer doldrums, one of the highlights of our local grocery lineup has been the new Greek yogurts and cheeses from Berry Hill Farm!
We got more of all of the flavors last week, along with ricotta cheese and whipped cream cheese. We’re expecting another delivery on Wednesday, this week, as well.
No surprise, lettuce heads and salad greens have been going super fast. Farmer Jason’s schedule is a little different this week with Labor Day this weekend, so we are restocking arugula, mustard greens bunches, cucumbers and a small amount of zephyr squash on Tuesday and then we’ll do a second round of all that, plus lettuce mix, baby tat soi, mizuna and braising mix on Friday morning, too!
We managed to get enough pasta last week to keep up with demand and there’s a few available frozen. We’re also expecting more bucatini, mezzi rigatoni, radiatore and spaghetti on Tuesday.
Guidry’s sent us a big order of glazed pecans (in both sizes) along with pecan oil last week and we restocked honey. creamed and infused honey and elderberry juices from Cockeyed Farms, too.
There’s more muscadine and scuppernong grapes picked from a vineyard near Hattiesburg, Miss.
La Rive stocked us up with four flavors of kombucha, but we are getting low on Gingerbooch beverages.
There’s also a bunch of eggs from Credo Farms and more limited eggs from our Local Cooling Farms hens. The pullet flock is picking up and even the older flock bumped up a little this weekend, so that’s promising.
We’re low on beef and goat meat, but there’s lots of pastured pork and chicken and wild-caught Gulf seafood, along with fresh and fried tofu. There’s also several large sizes of hummus to start the week and we’ll restock even more on Thursday.
Plus don’t forget our other staples like rice, grits, clay peas and stone-milled flours, jams, jellies, pickles and preserves, graNOLA, herbal teas and mushroom and turmeric tinctures, salts and seasonings, infused salts and sugars, olive or pecan oil and balsamic or infused vinegars, chili oil and hot sauces and lots more.
