GraNOLA is Back, Plus Microgreens, Asian Pears & Grapes, Bone Broth, Eggs, Meats, Seafood, Hummus, Pasta & More!
What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of September 1st
Place Your Orders Here!
We finally restocked GraNOLA and GraNOLA bars to start the week! Y’all have quickly become big fans of this crispy and dried fruit and nut loaded granola, along with nut-butter based bars and we got more than ever on Friday for you!
As we wait on the first apples of the season (and more variety of veggies!), we have plenty of Asian pears and purple muscadine grapes, along with a few large watermelons.
There’s lots of beautiful microgreens from Rose Wagon Ranch, along with some arugula from Homegrown in Folsom, with more salad greens coming from Homegrown on Thursday.
There’s also colorful peppers, summer squash, slicing cucumbers, fresh rosemary, garlic and frozen blueberries and we’re expecting more hakurei turnips, pickling cucumbers, red and green okra and hot cherry peppers on Tuesday and more Italian and lemon basil on Wednesday.
We also got a bone broth restock from Credo Farms on Friday, along with more rendered lard from our pastured pork fat and lard soap from our pigs, too! The soap has the silkiest lather and smells amazing with clary sage and cocoa powder.
There’s also plenty of frozen brioche buns, honey oat loaves, pizza dough and a few shapes of pasta, with more fresh pasta coming in on Tuesday and fresh bread and buns on Wednesday and Friday as usual.
Low-temp pasteurized dairy products from Feliciana’s Best will be delivered on Tuesday as usual and Southern Maids goat dairy is coming on Friday instead of Wednesday this week (and next week, too).
There’s also plenty of eggs, pastured chicken and pork, Gulf shrimp and some fish and very limited grassfed beef. It’s looking like we may have found a source of grass finished beef to stock up on next week so we can hold on processing our steers a little longer. We have so much beautiful grass still, so we’re happy to keep grazing them if we can!
And there’s also plenty of our wild-foraged goat meat. They are also forage fed, no grain, but since they eat so much besides grasses, that’s where the term comes from! We’re doing a sale on ground goat right now since we’re out of ground beef. My favorite ways to cook with it are for herby (rosemary, garlic and lemon zest) goat burgers, homemade gyros, kebabs and meatballs.
Finally, there’s plenty of our other local grocery staples including fresh roasted coffee, cold brew, chai concentrate and simple syrups, herbal teas, stone-milled flours, clay peas, rice and grits, olive oil, balsamic vinegars and herb-infused vinegars, salts and sugars, mushroom, herb and turmeric tinctures, honey and maple syrup, salts and seasonings, jams and jellies, pickles and ferments, kombucha and lots more!
