Asian Pears & Watermelons, Sweet Corn & Salad Greens, Plus Restocked GraNOLA + Turmeric & Mushroom Tinctures, Hummus, Meats & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of July 21st

Place Your Orders Here!

Asian pears and large watermelons have joined the produce lineup for the first time this season, along with plenty more nectarines and peaches. And we’re expecting more plums, too!

Sweet corn is also back, too! And there’s some precious summer salad greens, which can be tricky to grow in the heat. There’s peppery baby arugula along with sweet and tender baby Tat Soi.

Besides the fruits and greens, there's still a bunch of beautiful tomatoes, mixed heirloom cherry tomatoes, red beefsteak and San Marzano tomatoes, too. More red and yellow beefsteak, along with more heirloom slicing tomatoes are expected on Tuesday.

And there's also another gorgeous array of gourmet mushrooms, plus frozen blueberries, onions and garlic, Black Beauty and green Japanese eggplant, red and green okra, colorful lunchbox, bell and shishito peppers, plus jalapeños, chioggia beets, hakurei turnips, frozen pink eyed peas and delicata squash.

We restocked bone broth from Credo Farms on Friday and they brought us some beautiful rendered lard, from our pasture-raised pigs. We haven’t had a producer able to render lard for us since 2021, so this is really exciting. And there’s something else fun coming soon with lard, too, stay tuned on that.

Another round of graNOLA in two sizes came in last week, but the granola bars sold out already! We’ll aim to get even more next time.

ALL CAPS and L4S Farms did a joint delivery from Acadiana, so we have more black garlic, Lion's Mane tincture, plus new Lion's Mane powder, as well as more fresh turmeric, ground turmeric, various turmeric and ginger tinctures and salves.

Eggs are still bountiful as our new flock continues to crank up their laying — they haven’t even stopped increasing yet. Now they’re beyond a 75% laying rate. For this brutal heat, that’s especially impressive.

And don’t sleep on the new herb-infused vinegars, salts and sugars from Rose Wagon Ranch. We sold out of a few and restocking what we can on Friday. They’re bringing more fresh microgreens then, too!

We did another pork restock on Thursday, but still waiting to process more beef. There's also plenty of chicken and goat meat, limited seafood, restocked hummus, dairy, kombucha, coffee, teas and more.
