What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of January 5th

Place Your Orders Here!

We're ready to help you get 2026 started right with tons of beautiful local groceries. And we’re back to our regular hours at the shop in Metairie this week, along with a full slate of our biweekly farm hubs and home deliveries routes (scroll down to the pick up and delivery options for those details).

Unlike many parts of the country, winter is still an abundant time of year for produce in our region! So there’s plenty of apples and citrus, plus salad greens, microgreens, heads of lettuce and radicchio, broccolini and cabbage, gourmet mushrooms, root veggies and more! It might be a lighter week for strawberries, but we’re hoping to get more from Faust Farms on Thursday.

We’re starting the week with a sale on heavy cream and half and half from last week and we have goat milk and several cheeses and yogurt from Southern Maids. We’ll get more fresh dairy from Feliciana’s Best on Tuesday as usual and more goat dairy from Southern Maids on Wednesday, too.

We are also starting the year with tons of eggs! There’s plenty of our mixed size chicken eggs from our mature flocks, a sale on small pullet eggs from our juvenile flocks and a sale on our duck eggs from our new flock, plus half dozens of duck eggs from Compostella Farm.

We’re stocked up on pastured chicken especially and have a good array of pasture pork, wild-foraged goat meat and Gulf seafood. We’re nearly entirely out of Little Creek beef, but very excited to finally be picking up more of our Local Cooling Farms beef on Friday at long last! Also picking up more goat meat, including some new goat sausages.

We also have lots of frozen pasta from Il Supremo and we’ll get more fresh pasta on Tuesday as usual. There’s frozen brioche buns and pizza dough from Bellegarde, with more fresh bread and buns coming on Wednesday and Friday.

Plus there's lots of rice, grits, clay peas, stone-milled flours, olive oil, pecan oil and balsamic vinegars, infused vinegars, salts and sugars, glazed pecans and popcorn, herbal teas and tinctures, honey and maple syrup and more.
