What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of December 1st

We starting our week with lots of beautiful fall fruits, veggies and herbs, as well as all of our restocked pork sausages to make for easy post-Thanksgiving meals!
We also have new jowl bacon and other pork cuts that had been out of stock, having gotten a round of pork back from our butcher last Tuesday.
And there’s also limited grassfed beef from Little Creek and lots of plenty of pastured chicken and wild-foraged goat meat, Gulf seafood and tofu to round out our protein offerings.
We have some whole milk, half & half and heavy cream on sale from last week with more of all that, plus chocolate milk coming on Tuesday as usual. We also have goat milk, cheeses and yogurt from Southern Maids and more coming on Wednesday.
Fresh eggs will be coming first thing on Tuesday and we’ll also get more fresh pasta on Tuesday and fresh Bellegarde bread and buns on Wednesday and Friday as usual.
We restocked La Rive kombucha last week, but as usual, it’s going fast!
Pick Up & Delivery Options:
Our Metairie store is open 10 am-6 pm, Tuesday-Saturday as usual. Daily order deadline is 3 pm.
Bogalusa Farm Pick Up is an option on Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday morning, 8 am-noon. Order deadline for next day pick up is 2 pm.
Bywater Farm Hub on Thursday, 5-6 pm at Parleaux Beer Lab, 634 Lesseps St. Home deliveries in 70116 and 70117 beforehand. Deadline to order is noon on Thursday.
Mid-City Farm Hub on Friday, 10 am to noon at the Flour Moon Bagels, 457 N Dorgenois St. Home deliveries in 70005, 70006, 70119, 70122 and 70124 afterwards. Deadline to order is 4 pm on Thursday.
Algiers Point Farm Hub on Saturday, 10-11 am at Beatrixbell Handcrafted Jewelry, 337 Morgan St. Home deliveries in 70114 afterwards. Deadline to order is 4 pm on Friday.
Irish Channel, Warehouse District, Central City, Uptown, Broadmoor, Carrollton & Old Jefferson (70112, 70113, 70115, 70118, 70121, 70125 and 70130) home deliveries after the Algiers Point Hub on Saturday, roughly 11:30-2 pm. Deadline to order 4 pm on Friday.

Donations for Mutual Aid: Protein or produce shares available for purchase and we’ll bring another round to a community fridge this week!
Pastured Eggs: Local Cooling Farms eggs coming first thing on Tuesday morning!
Pastured Dairy: Sale on some Feliciana’s Best items to start the week, with a fresh delivery coming Tuesday afternoon as usual. And we also have Southern Maids goat milk, cheeses and yogurt, with more coming on Wednesday.
Bread & Pasta: We have frozen brioche buns in stock in the hamburger size, plus crostini and frozen pizza dough. We’ll get fresh slider size brioche buns, baguettes, ciabatta, country and honey oat loaves on Wednesday and Friday from Bellegarde.
Local Produce: Cold-pressed ginger and turmeric juices, Fuyu persimmons, five types of apples, large bags of frozen blueberries, beautiful herbs (cilantro, dill, garlic chives, parsley and scallions), plus fennel, turmeric root, a few microgreens, radicchio, arugula, baby kale, lettuce and spring mix, plus collard or Dino kale bunches, caraflex or large Napa cabbages, broccolini, orange carrots, extra large red beets, kohlrabi, hakurei turnips, green daikon, purple daikon or red rover radishes, acorn, Autumn frost, red kuri, spaghetti and sweet dumpling squashes and sweet potatoes.
Plant-Based Protein: All fresh tofu options — plain, black mushroom and red chili lemongrass fresh tofu blocks, as well as fried black mushroom tofu cubes.
Bone Broth: Beef, chicken, trinity and two types of pet bone broth in stock.
Forest-Raised Pork: Thrilled to have all of our ground and linked sausages back in stock including breakfast, chorizo and Italian ground sausages, bratwurst, breakfast, Cajun, Italian and kielbasa links, smoked Andouille and plain ground pork. We also have plenty of bacon, new jowl bacon, pork stir fry strips, bone-in or boneless chops, picnic shoulder roasts, organs, ears, tails, fat to be rendered or already rendered lard and lard soap! We also are continuing our sale on bones, jowls, spare ribs and trotters.
Grassfed Beef: We have limited ground beef, bone-in ribeyes, NY strip steaks, round roasts, Dino rib racks, bones and trim/fat.
Wild-Foraged Goat Meat: We’re continuing our 15% off sale on the entire category — so ground goat, loin chops (mini t-bones), rack steaks (rib chops), boneless stew/kebab meat, neck and shoulder roasts, shanks, rib racks and bones!
Pastured Poultry: Stocked up on all chicken cuts and sausages, so plain ground chicken, buffalo, chorizo, green onion and gouda and apple sausage, along with whole and half birds, tenders, breasts, thighs, leg quarters, drumsticks, wings, frames/bones for broth, hearts and livers, as well as dehydrated livers and skin for pet treats.
Gulf Seafood: Yellowfin tuna filets, red grouper filets, soft-shell crabs, alligator strips, red grouper collars, smoked almaco jack portions. Should be restocking shrimp this week.
Coffee & Tea: There’s lots of herbal and reishi teas from Family Fungi and cold brew, chai concentrate and simple syrups from Church Alley and a few options of whole bean or ground coffee from Flamjeaux until our next restock.
Dips & Condiments: Just pesto to start the week, but we are restocking hummus on Wednesday instead of Thursday this week!
Pantry: Lots of infused vinegars, plus salts and sugars from Rose Wagon Ranch, along with Texas olive oil and balsamic vinegar and pecan oil and pecan butter from Guidry Organic Farms and apple cider vinegar from Scott’s Orchard. There’s also Crop to Pop-corn, salts and seasonings, dehydrated mushrooms, mushroom powder, soup & dip mix, chili oil and hot sauce, graNOLA and more!
Pet Treats: Dehydrated liver and skin from A&A Acres and two types of pet bone broth from Credo Farms.
Sweets: Plenty of our Wisconsin maple syrup, plus local raw honey, elderberry juice, infused blueberry honey and creamed honey.
Rice, Grains & Stone Ground Corn Products: Lots of rice, grits, cornmeal and whole grain and clay pea options from Two Brooks Rice and Marsh Hen Mill, plus stone-milled flours from Barton Springs Mill and Bellegarde.
Ferments: Limited kombucha from La Rive, but it’s going fast like usual. And there’s a few types of kimchi from VEGGI Coop and Resurrection Gardens, as well as kraut, giardiniera and chow chow.
Preserves: Lots of great fruit jams, jellies and preserves available from Josey’s Goods, plus pepper jellies and lots of pickles.
Herbal Remedies: Turmeric and ginger tinctures, plus various lovely mushroom and herb tinctures from Family Fungi along with reishi and herbal teas. There’s also Mineral Manna electrolyte oxymel and a few elderberry syrups and juices from Family Fungi and Cockeyed Farms.
