Rainbow Produce, More Stone-Milled Flours, Pastured Pork & Chicken, Bone Broth, Honey, Tofu, Kimchi, Hummus & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of August 4th

Place Your Orders Here!

Even though August starts to see a bit of a decline in produce variety as the hot summer season gives away to a break before fall crops take off, for now, we’ve still got rainbow of gorgeous fruits and veggies for you.

Produce highlights include large watermelons, more summer salad greens, brightly colored peppers, gold zucchini, tomatillos, eggplant, okra and peaches.

We are expecting more summer squash, tomatoes and Asian pears on Tuesday and hopefully more cucumbers and greens on Thursday.

And we restocked our Local Cooling Farms pastured pork (tons of bacon, sausages and various cuts), along with beef bones and osso bucco shanks on Friday from our backstock freezer, so we’re as stocked up as we can be this week.

We also received deliveries from Barton Springs Mill, Cockeyed Farms, Credo Farms, Rose Wagon Ranch and VEGGI Farm Coop on Friday, which means there’s more fresh stone-milled flour, raw honey and elderberry products, bone broth and frozen blueberries, microgreens and infused salts, sugars and vinegars as well as fresh and fried tofu and more kimchi!

After a week off, we have lot of Nur’s Kitchen hummus and are scheduled to get even more, plus hopefully pesto, on Thursday.

There’s a few sale dairy items on sale from last week, along with our usual fresh deliveries coming from Feliciana’s Best on Tuesday and Southern Maids on Wednesday.

We’ve got plenty of eggs to start the egg and more where that came from with our chickens continuing to lay well.

There’s also a good amount of GraNOLA (sold out of bars and one flavor), rice and grits, peas, Texas olive oil and balsamic vinegar, fermented veggies, kombucha, jams and jellies, maple syrup, salts and seasonings, chili oil and hot sauce, dried mushrooms, herbal teas, coffee and more.

We are expecting a bunch of chicken, including thighs, from Pearl River Pastures on Thursday afternoon and are hoping the timing will work out for a seafood delivery from Anna Marie Seafood this week. They were cutting fish yesterday!
