What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of November 3rd

Place Your Orders Here!

We’re heading into the new week with so much variety in the produce department with a last hurrah of cherry tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers and eggplant and first of the season broccoli, beets and carrots, among many other items!

Plus shrimp, yellowfin tuna and red grouper filets are back, the spare rib sale is still going strong and since we have fresh rosemary again, the rosemary feta goat burger bundle is back.

Last week, I wrote that we were just waiting on beets, more brassicas (like broccoli and cabbages) and carrots for fall and then (almost) all of those things came in, the beginning of what should be a long off and on season for them. If what we have sells out today, we should get more on Tuesday and Thursday, as well.

There’s also lots of salad greens (though we are out of lettuce and baby kale until Tuesday afternoon and spring mix until Thursday), collard greens, microgreens, apples, persimmons, herbs, mushrooms, radishes, squashes, sweet potatoes and more. More kale, cilantro, dill, parsley and scallions are also expected on Tuesday and we should get more shishito peppers, Suyo cucumbers, Napa cabbage and garlic chives on Wednesday, too.

We’ve got plenty of both sizes of frozen brioche buns in stock, with more fresh bread and buns, as well as more crostini, pizza dough and Bellegarde’s stone-milled flour expected on Wednesday and Friday. We also ordered more Barton Spring Mill flour and that should be milled and shipped no later than Thursday, expected late this week or early next week!

More Feliciana’s Best Dairy will be delivered on Tuesday as usual and we have Southern Maids goat milk, various cheeses and yogurt, with more coming on Wednesday, too.

We’ve got eggs from our flocks to start the week and eggs from Credo Farms to fill in production gaps as we start supplying eggs to Grow Dat Youth Farm’s CSA this week. Compostella will bring a few more half dozens of duck eggs on Tuesday, too.

Tofu is back after VEGGI Farmer’s Coop and the Tien Dat tofu makers were visiting Vietnam last month!

We’re low on Little Creek Beef until next week and fairly low on our Local Cooling Farms pork, too! There’s still plenty of bacon, chops, roasts, stir fry strips, ribs, hocks, jowls, etc., but the only sausages we have until we process (soon) are breakfast links and bratwurst.

Chicken is stocked up though and we will restock ground chicken and a few other things we’re out of on Wednesday. There’s plenty of our wild-foraged, grain-free goat meat, too. And a big bone broth restock from Credo Farms, too.

Plus there’s also kombucha, fermented veggies, lots of GraNOLA, rice and grits and clay peas, popcorn, olive oil and vinegar, jams and jellies, coffee and herbal teas, infused salts and sugars, seasonings, hot sauces, pickles and lots more.
