Shrimp, Popcorn, Glazed Pecans & Maple Syrup Are Back! Plus Peaches, Blackberries & More Coming This Week!
What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of May 12th
Place Your Orders Here!
We're heading into the week with tons of great local food, including restocks on some customer favorite products like Anna Marie Gulf shrimp, Crop to Pop-corn, Guidry’s glazed pecans and my family’s Wisconsin maple syrup!
We had a banner week for spring and summer produce last week, but that category of the online storefront looks a little light to start the week simply because we sold out of so much.
More bok choy, kale, spinach, daikon and watermelon radishes should be coming by early afternoon from Two Dog Farms tomorrow, along with Becnel Farm blackberries and Mountain View Orchard peaches! Yes, there is an early variety of peaches called Rich May that we’ve never gotten before that we’re very excited about.
Then by Tuesday evening, we’ll pick up another round of produce from River Queen Greens, including more cucumbers, summer squash and zucchini, chives, scallions, onions, microgreens and more.
As is the norm lately, we have an abundance of mushrooms from Family Fungi and Screaming Oaks!
And we did another Local Cooling Farms meat restock on Friday, mainly pork, so we are stocked on most favorite cuts and sausages and we have plenty of pastured chicken from A&A Acres, Credo Farms and Pearl River Pastures, too.
We have a limited amount of Southern Maids dairy products and more coming Wednesday, along with our usual Feliciana’s Best Creamery delivery on Tuesday by midday or so.
There’s also frozen buns, honey oat loaves and pizza dough, pasta, tofu, hummus and pesto, coffee, herbal teas, cold brew, chai and simple syrups, rice, grits and stone-milled flour, jams and jellies and lots more. More fresh pasta coming on Tuesday and bread and buns on Wednesday and Friday as usual.
