Eggs Are Bountiful & On Sale, Plus New Microgreens, Herb-Infused Vinegars, Salts & Sugars, Tons of Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Pasta, Meats, Seafood & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of July 14th

Place Your Orders Here!

Eggs are finally really bountiful again from our three flocks that we're able to put them on sale. Plus intermittently, there will be smaller eggs from the new flock on sale, too. These hens took a little longer to ramp up than past flocks, but they spent less time laying small and medium eggs and skipped to large pretty quickly, so it balances out, it seems!

And we got a bunch of new products from our friends at Rose Wagon Ranch. There’s a few types of fresh microgreens, plus their whole line of homegrown and local herb-infused vinegars, salts and sugars. You can use the vinegars anywhere you’d use a nice balsamic or wine vinegar like in salad dressings, dips, drizzling on veggies or even in beverages. The salts are great for seasoning proteins, pasta and veggies and the sugars are great to bake with, rim cocktail or mocktail glasses with and more!

It's still peak tomato season with creole (probably the last of the season), a large cherry/grape mix, a colorful array of heirlooms and also perfect yellow beefsteak tomatoes.

We’re out of spring mix, but there’s bacon from Local Cooling Farms and sliced honey oat loaves for your BLTs, plus basil, pasta, pesto and more for any of your summer tomato creations.

Besides tomatoes, there's a bunch of gourmet mushrooms, plus frozen blueberries, fennel, onions and garlic, two types of eggplant, beautiful red okra, corno di toro, hot peach, jalapeño and poblano peppers, frozen pink eyed peas, purple daikon radishes and butternut and delicata squashes.

We are expecting more peaches, figs, possibly cantaloupes, colorful bell peppers, lunch box and shishito peppers, chioggia beets, san Marzano tomatoes, English cucumbers and Japanese eggplant delivered on Tuesday, too.

There's also an array of our Local Cooling Farms pastured pork and grass-finished goat meat and beef (though the beef is getting limited)! Plus we have a bunch of Gulf seafood and tons of chicken cuts (thighs are back) and ground chicken and sausages, restocked from A&A Acres and Pearl River Pastures.

There’s Southern Maids goat milk and cheeses, with more coming, including yogurt on Wednesday. Feliciana’s Best Creamery is set to deliver more dairy on Tuesday as usual.

Last week, we also restocked chai concentrate and simple syrups from Church Alley Pantry, along with glazed pecans, pecan butter and pecan oil from Guidry's and whole bean and ground coffee from Flamjeaux.

Another round of granola in two sizes plus granola bars is expected on Tuesday from GraNOLA, too.

Plus there's lots of tofu, hummus, kombucha, veggie ferments, rice and grits, stone-milled flour, herbal teas, tinctures and tonics, skin salves and lots more.
