Stocked Up on Pastured Chicken, Muscadine Grapes, Microgreens, Colorful Peppers, Cucumbers & Sale Bacon Ends, Dairy, Kombucha & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of August 18th

Place Your Orders Here!

Late last week we welcomed the first muscadine grapes of the season, along with more mixed heirloom cherry tomatoes, Armenian and pickling cucumbers, Japanese eggplant, red okra, shishito and sweet habanada peppers, keeping things colorful and interesting even in the doldrums of August.

We also have red seedless watermelons from Indian Springs Cooperative and peaches and Asian pears from Mountain View Orchards. Believe it or not, apple season is not far away either!

And because of customer demand, we keep upping the microgreens order from Rose Wagon Ranch.

And we're so lucky to have a bounty of local pastured chicken. Last year at this time was a very different picture, for those of you who remember! There's also a lot of pastured pork and wild-foraged goat meat, plus local tofu in two flavors. Grassfed beef and Gulf fish are pretty limited, but we do have plenty of shrimp!

And there's plenty of our pasture-raised eggs, goat cheeses, hummus and pesto, frozen bread, buns, pizza dough and pasta, jams and jellies, veggie ferments, stone-milled flours, rice and grits, olive oil, balsamic vinegars and herb-infused vinegars, salts and sugars, popcorn, teas and tinctures, fresh roasted coffee, cold brew chai concentrate, simple syrups and much more.

Sale items include dairy from last week (half & half, heavy cream and chocolate milk in both sizes), several pork items including bacon ends, plus two flavors of kombucha that are especially bountiful.

More fresh dairy is coming from Feliciaina’s Best on Tuesday and from Southern Maid on Wednesday as usual. And fresh bread and buns will be delivered on Wednesday and Friday as usual, along with fresh pasta on Tuesday.
