What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of May 4th

Place Your Orders Here!

We’re now in the gap between fruit seasons as the heavy rains last week officially put an end to 2026 strawberry season. The next fruits we expect are blackberries and blueberries in the next few weeks!

In the meantime, slicing cucumbers are back from Homegrown in Folsom and we’ll get the first pickling cucumbers of the season from River Queen Greens on Tuesday afternoon. There’s gorgeous zephyr squash from River Queen Greens and we’ll get zucchini from them on Tuesday, as well.

The greens and herbs continue to be bountiful and beautiful, too, with butter or starfighter head lettuces, baby arugula, kale, lettuce, spring mix, chives, cilantro, dill, two types of mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary and sage plus kale and collards.

And we got in fresh mushrooms from Screaming Oaks -- chestnut, lion's mane, oyster and shiitake.

We have lots of eggs right now, including regular mixed sizes, the good deal on small pullet eggs from the juvenile flocks and a few dozen duck eggs, too.

Proteins are fairly well stocked, especially chicken, but we'll be ready to restock seafood and pork later this week. Ground buffalo is now sold out and we won't be able to get more until the end of the month.

Last week was a Flamjeaux restock week, so there's plenty of coffee in multiple roasts and origins in both whole bean and ground.

More milk, cream and chocolate milk will be delivered from Feliciana’s Best Creamery on Tuesday midday and more goat milk and cheeses will come on Wednesday.

And there's hummus in several flavors, plenty of frozen brioche buns and sliced honey oat loaves, rice and grits, stone-milled flours, jams and jellies, pickles and ferments, seasonings and hot sauces, honey, molasses and cane syrup, glazed pecans and pecan butter, oils and vinegars, limited graNOLA and more.
