The veggie situation is looking springier again with lots of fresh herbs, celery, leeks, salad and microgreens, kale and collards, large beets, radishes and more.
Besides the two bulk mushroom options, there's also a bunch of ala carte clamshells of various gourmet mushrooms from Screaming Oaks, too.
And ALL CAPS did a partial restock of their products on Friday, so there’s more black garlic, their signature Smokey Shiitake & Black Garlic Seasoning, lion’s mane and reishi tinctures and lion’s mane and ouster mushroom powders. Turkey tail, Caps & Cream mix and a few other things will be coming back soon.
Southern Maids had to punt their usual delivery from Wednesday to Friday last week, so we’re fairly stocked up to start the week this week. Feliciana’s Best will deliver on Tuesday as usual.
Our hens are laying really well as we move into longer and longer daylight hours, so there’s plenty of mixed size chicken eggs, duck eggs and we should have at least a few more small pullet egg dozens throughout the week from the youngest birds.
We’ve got most hummus flavors and sizes except Mediterranean to start the week and we’ll restock that on Thursday.
Plus we did another big pork restock last Tuesday (stir fry, stew meat and Boston butt roasts are back, plus all the link and ground sausages) and there’s a good amount of goat meat. We’ll do a freezer restock for more beef cuts we’re low or out of on Tuesday, as well.
There was a mixup on honey oat loaves over proofing on Wednesday last week, so we didn’t get those, but got more on Thursday and Friday. Hence we have a lot frozen now as the schedule disruption didn’t get work out. We’ll also get more fresh bread on Wednesday and Friday as usual.
There's also tofu, rice and grits, stone-milled flours, jams and jellies, limited kombucha, fermented veggies, fresh coffee, teas and tinctures and lots more.
