The End of Strawberry Season, Jam & Pecan Butter Restock, First Cucumbers, Tons of Greens, Root Veggies, Proteins, Eggs, Hummus, Fresh Herbs & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of April 27th

Place Your Orders Here!

The end of strawberry season is almost here, sadly! It's looking like strawberries from Faust Farms are going to end a little earlier this year than some years. They had a couple of flooding rain events in their main fields in March and early April, so they're only harvesting from one smaller field.

We thought Thursday might have been the last delivery, but they’re going to have more quarts for us this week after all, just no half flats. Get them while we’ve got them and freeze some to last you until next strawberry season!

In the produce realm, there's also lots of bagged salad greens, head lettuces, beautiful indigo radicchio, herbs, gorgeous Dino kale, gourmet mushrooms, spring onions, carrots, beets, radishes and more.

We got the first cucumbers of the season last week and we expect more on Thursday, along with more gourmet mushrooms Thursday, too. We’ll also get beautiful zephyr squash on Tuesday evening from River Queen Greens.

We’re fairly well stocked up on grassfed beef and ground buffalo, wild-foraged goat meat, pastured pork and chicken and Gulf seafood.

We restocked more pork and limited beef from our backup freezers on Wednesday and more chicken was delivered, as well. A&A Acres doesn’t have ground chicken yet this season, so we got some more from Cassell Farms in the meantime.

We have lots of frozen pasta from Il Supremo, so we didn't get more fresh pasta last week to leave space in the fridges. There’s also lots of frozen bread from Bellegarde.

Josey's Goods did a restock on Thursday with more fruit jams, pepper jellies and pickles and don’t miss the Guidry’s restock from the week before with more pecan butter and glazed pecans especially.

We have plenty of eggs and will restock more throughout the week. Feliciana’s Best and Southern Maids will deliver more dairy as usual on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

GraNOLA and bars are going fast again and there’s also lots of rice, grits, clay peas, stone-milled flours, oils and vinegars, infused salts, sugars and vinegars, hot sauces, seasonings, teas and tinctures, dehydrated mushrooms, honey and cane syrup and lots more.
