JOE FEKETE FAMILY FARM

Located right outside of Amite, Joe Fekete Family Farm is family-owned and operated, growing a variety of fresh produce year round.

The Feketes sell their produce at local farmers markets and wholesale to restaurants and local stores like ours. 

A retired educator, Joe wanted to get back to his roots and reconnect with the earth. Farming has allowed him to do just this, as well as settle into his niche - playing in the dirt. He uses conventional growing practices, when necessary, to stay ahead of pests.
