COMPOSTELLA FARM

Compostella Farm is a biodynamic vegetable farm owned and operated by Madeline Yost, a native New Orleanian, and Timothy Robb, who grew up in Southern California, New York City and England.

Compostella means "field of stars," making Compostella Farm an expression of where they see their place in the universe. Specializing in salad greens (baby arugula, lettuce, kale and mustard), they also grow carrots, collards, radicchio, green onions/scallions and green garlic.

Certified Organic in 2017-2018, when their farm was outside of Hammond, La., they continue to practice organic methods on their new farm in Mississippi, and have been increasingly adding more biodynamic methods as well. They strive to minimize the inputs to their farm and to nurture their farm's expression as an individuality.
